The French Information Resource Centre, Embassy of France, New Delhi offers a series of programmes designed for students who are learning French and who wish to discover or enhance their knowledge of France.
These programmes are planned in conjunction with the teachers of French.

School visit to FIRC
The visit will aim not only at providing the students with an opportunity to develop their skills for independent research, but also an opportunity to build their knowledge on aspects of French culture as well as language. They will also be invited to actively participate in the related cultural activities organized by FIRC.
The program is conducted on Mondays, 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. The duration of the program is approximately for two and half hours for a maximum number of 40 students.

Different types of activities for students:
- Children film screening: Titles to be screened will be decided one week before the event.
- Contemporary French Song Workshop: To encourage the student to sing French songs. Lyrics of the song will be given before hand.
- Quiz competition on France: General questions on France. The student who gives maximum correct answer will win a prize.
Presentation:
- Orientation of Library - books / video documentary / CDS / video films / Magazines – Children Section. (Catalogue, classification System)
- Give an introduction to France and activities related to France conducted at our Centre in which they may actively participate - such as, poetry and music festivals, lectures and seminars, film screenings, exhibitions, cultural events, “Lire en Fête”, “Francophonie Day”, education fairs and academic counselling.
- Information on membership of the Library and rules and regulations.
- Information on Higher Education in France.
- Information on Exchange Programs.
Circulation of children’s documents:
The FIRC under its policy of highlighting its collection provides all types of documents for children to encourage the beginners to read and understand a living or colloquial French, to provide to teachers up to date books and also to promote the collection of the library to a young public.
We have successfully completed circulation of children’s documents to different schools in Delhi and around Delhi, teaching French as a foreign language.
